Floral Skirt

After spending a full day making a muslin that fits my body of Simplicity 2475, I finally have something wearable to show off the efforts.

Fabric was from a thrift store, probably intended as curtain fabric or maybe pillows.  Linen or something similar.  Paid about $5 a year or two ago.

Kick pleats in back with leaf details inside.
Lined with white cotton sheet.
Pink metal zipper on the left side.
Completely from the stash.

More details on my blog.

Stash used:
*3 panel fabric of 60" linen fabric, about 1.5 yards
*Scraps of white cotton sheet for lining: I'll guess 2 yards since that's what the pattern calls for
* Metal 7" zipper

Plus 1/2 queen-sized sheet for the muslin made for the skirt (count as another 2 yards)
