Here are a few photos of the dress in progress: This gives you a nice idea of how the ruffles look.
This one you can see in progress with skirt attached to bodice.
And finally the finished dress
I lined the full dress though pattern only calls for bodice to be lined. I used 3 yards of fabric and lining combined.

What a beautiful dress! I like the ruffle detail, the whole item looks so elegant.
Linda, this is just a stunning dress - the midnight blue looks gorgeous on you. It was worth lining all through - you have made the dress so nicely it would have been a shame not to.
Linda, this is so gorgeous in the midnight blue!
Pretty dress! You look elegant in it :)
Yeah so I bought this pattern and ended up putting it in a box to send to my sister. I send her patterns I no longer want. Welp, I'm pulling it back out? LOL
Thank you!

The ruffles are what drew me to this pattern. Thank your for your comments
Thanks Sarah! The dress met the wearability test- no pulling, not a lot of wrinkling due to the lining.
