Thanks for these suggestions. I am currently working on a beachwear capsule, and will most likely add in a travel capsule...or maybe do a series of 1)skirts or 2)tees or 3)Sandra Betzina designs. The beachwear capsule is mainly linen and cotton with a few knit tees. I have made a dress, and am currently working on an oversized linen tee.

Hi everyone - it has been hard work, but it is so enjoyable working with such a great bunch of people who are so enthusiastic, it makes it a joy. Really looking forward to seeing what you come up with everyone - and Mary, your first capsules are absolutely great - I remember you saying you love the beach. Love your choices.

(Oooops! I'll try again without the spelling errors.)
WOW! There is so much info here. Everytime, I take a peek at the blog, there's more and more inspiration. The blog is a real credit to you Sarah Liz. Thanks so much for all your hard work, it's greatly appreciated.

Hi Janine, spelling errors okay, I make them all the time :)

I think this is going to be a great community blog - it's also all of you that make this blog a real treat.

Coordinated capsule... hmmmm.... I always thought that that refers to work attire, and since I am a SAHM now that doesn't refer to me, but now I have to change my mind... esp since nothing matches in my wardrobe, except with jeans. Hehe...

I felt the same way. SAHM have no need for coordination. In my house, why coordinate to only have spit up on the top in the morning and poo on the bottom in the evening. My mind changed after I started side eyeing those Mothers who have young ones and still look like they have a life! I wanted one too! Lol

I am so glad this sew-along is running till 31st Dec... no time preassure... This list is very helpful. I will have to critically look at my garments and compare all with the lsit. Great company - it will go easier :-) and with great pleasure!

Hi Everyone - I think a lot of us that spend a lot of time at home, for whatever reason, tend to not really value what we wear - I do the same - I've got to change this behaviour as well. Have you noticed how they don't put stylish clothes for SAHM or SAH anybody else in the fashion mags - it's like you are not existent. Lets change that...

Hi Beata - yes, no pressure, just sew at your own speed :)

Anonymous said... it too late to join? I just found you and would like to become inspired and encouraged to finally use up all of my fabric that has been stored in 5 large bins in my garage!

Let me know...
